While using Wavixo for WhatsApp Broadcasting or Live Chat, you may sometimes encounter errors without clearly knowing why they occurred or how to resolve them.
Most WhatsApp messaging errors are triggered due to:

Violation of Meta (WhatsApp) policies

Incorrect setup or parameters

Broadcast limit or quality issues

This guide explains all common WhatsApp Broadcast & Live Chat errors, what causes them, and how to fix them.

Types of WhatsApp Messaging Errors You May Face

1. Error Code 130429 – Rate Limit Exceeded

What This Means
This error occurs when you try to send a broadcast to more users than your allowed broadcast limit.
Example
Your current tier allows 10,000 users

You attempt to send a broadcast to 11,000 users

You’ll see a warning above the Send Now button:
“Audience size exceeding the remaining quota, some messages may not be delivered.”

If you proceed:
Messages beyond your limit will fail

Failed messages appear in the Failed Messages section

Solution
Send broadcasts only within your allowed limit

Upgrade your WhatsApp Broadcasting tier to send messages to more users



2. Error Code 131048 – Spam Rate Limit Hit



What This Means
Meta has restricted your WhatsApp Business API number because:

Too many messages were blocked

Users reported your messages as spam

This usually happens when:
Messages are sent to non-opted-in users

Too many messages are sent to the same audience

All messages will fail with the reason:
Spam rate limit hit

Solution
Follow WhatsApp Business & Commerce policies

Send messages only to opted-in users

Personalize messages; avoid generic welcome messages

Control message frequency and length




3. Temporarily Blocked for Policy Violations

What This Means
Your account may be temporarily restricted due to:
Policy violations

Repeated spam-like behavior

Solution
Contact Wavixo Support
The team will raise a ticket with Meta to help restore your account.




4. Invalid Parameter

What This Means
Occurs when:

A parameter is misspelled

Parameters are used incorrectly in the template

Solution
Verify that parameters are enclosed correctly

5. Error Code 130472 – User Is Part of an Experiment

What This Means
The recipient’s number is part of a Meta experiment.
You cannot message this user for 24–48 hours

The user may still receive messages from other businesses

Solution
Wait for 24–48 hours

Retry messaging the user later




6. Required Parameter Is Missing

What This Means
This occurs when:
A required parameter is missing

Parameter syntax is incorrect

Solution
Recheck parameter formatting

Ensure all required parameters are included correctly



7. Service Unavailable

What This Means
Meta’s WhatsApp servers are temporarily down.

Solution
Check the WhatsApp Business Platform Status Page

Retry sending messages once services are restored



8. Error Code 131026 – Message Undeliverable

Possible Reasons
User is on an outdated WhatsApp version

User hasn’t accepted WhatsApp’s latest Terms of Service

WhatsApp anti-spam restrictions are triggered

Minimum Supported Versions
Android: 2.21.15.15

iOS: 2.21.170.4

KaiOS: 2.2130.10

Web: 2.2132.6

Solution
Ask the user (via another channel) to:
Send a message to your WhatsApp number

Check if your number is blocked

Accept WhatsApp’s latest Terms & Privacy Policy

Update WhatsApp to the latest version

If unresolved, retry after 24 hours.




9. Error Code 131042 – Business Eligibility / Payment Issue

What This Means
This error occurs due to billing or payment issues such as:
No active payment method

Credit limit exceeded

WhatsApp Business Account suspended or deleted

Timezone or currency not set

Messaging permission pending or declined

Solution
Contact Wavixo Support

The team will coordinate with Meta to resolve the issue




10. Media Upload Error

What This Means
Occurs when:
Unsupported media type is uploaded

File size exceeds limits

Solution
Verify supported media formats and sizes

Inspect file MIME type before uploading

Follow WhatsApp media upload guidelines



11. Error Code 132001 – Template Does Not Exist

What This Means
Template does not exist in the selected language

Template is not approved

Solution
Ensure the template is approved

Verify template name and language locale

Follow WhatsApp template guidelines



12. Error Code 132015 – Template Is Paused

What This Means
Meta paused the template due to:
Low engagement

Users blocking the template

Solution
Improve the template quality

Edit and resubmit the template

Resume campaigns after approval



13. Unidentified Error

What This Means
A temporary issue from Meta’s servers.

Solution
Retry sending messages after a few hours



14. Failed Message – “Unhealthy System Activity”

What This Means
Users haven’t replied to recent business messages.

To prevent spam:
WhatsApp blocks new messages for 24–48 hours

Solution
Retry sending messages after 24–48 hours
