How to Set Up Welcome & Off-Hours Auto-Replies in Wavixo App
Automatically greet users and send responses based on your business hours.
If you want every user to receive an instant message when they text your WhatsApp Business number—whether during working hours or off-hours—Wavixo lets you automate both Welcome Messages and Off-hours Messages.
This ensures users always receive a timely response, no matter when they reach out.
⭐ Do You Want to Automatically Send Welcome & Off-Hours Replies?
Enabling these auto-replies ensures:
Users messaging during working hours receive a Welcome Message
Users messaging outside working hours receive an Off-hours Message
This automation improves user experience and reduces response delays.
⭐ 1. Go to Live Chat Settings
To set up automated Welcome/Off-hours replies:
Go to Manage
Open Live Chat Settings
Enable the toggle for Welcome Message and Off-hours Message
Make sure the Enable switch is turned ON—otherwise, auto-replies won’t trigger.
⭐ 2. Configure Welcome & Off-Hours Messages
Once both toggles are enabled:
Click Configure under Welcome Message
Click Configure under Off-hours Message
This opens the message creation window for each automated reply.
⭐ 3. Set Up Your Welcome Message
The Welcome Message is sent to users who text you during your defined working hours.
When configuring your message:
You can choose between:
✔ Pre-approved message
A WhatsApp-approved template.
✔ Regular message
A simple text-based auto-reply you create inside Wavixo.
You may send:
A text message
An image message
A file attachment
After creating the message → click Save Configuration.
⭐ 4. Set Up Your Off-Hours Message
Repeat the same steps used for the Welcome Message.
Your Off-hours Reply will be sent when a user messages you outside your defined business hours.
Example shown on page 3 image:
“Hey there, we are currently offline.
Connect with us between Mon–Sat, 10 AM–7 PM.”
Click Save Configuration to complete setup.
⭐ 5. Set Your Timezone & Working Hours
Finally, define when your Welcome and Off-hours messages should trigger.
You can configure:
Your timezone
Start time & end time for each day of the week
Closed days (e.g., Sunday)
Example from the image on page 4:
If a user messages between 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Mon–Sat) → they receive the Welcome Message
If a user messages at 8 PM on a Tuesday, they receive the Off-hours Message
The working-hours editor allows toggling each day ON/OFF and setting custom timings.

Once everything is saved:
Wavixo will automatically respond based on your schedule
All users receive timely replies without waiting for a live agent
