WhatsApp Broadcast Limit (Wavixo)

Important Note As shown at the top of page 1, WhatsApp now applies broadcast limits at the Business Manager level, not at the individual project level.
This means:
All WhatsApp projects under the same Business Manager share the same Broadcast Limit.

Is There a Limit to How Many Broadcast Messages You Can Send?

Using Wavixo, you can send:
Unlimited messages

To Unlimited users

…but only after reaching WhatsApp’s maximum messaging tier.
When your WhatsApp Business API is first activated:
Your initial Broadcast Limit is 250 unique users per day.

To reach unlimited broadcasting, you must upgrade step-by-step through WhatsApp’s tiers.

Step 1 — Upgrade from 250 to 2000 Users per Day

To increase your broadcast limit to 2000 unique users/day, WhatsApp requires:

✔ Send messages to 1000 unique users within 30 days

✔ Maintain a High (Green) Quality Rating throughout the process

Once this is done, your limit moves to Tier 1.

WhatsApp Broadcast Tiers

Tier - Daily Broadcast Limit
Tier 1 - 2,000 unique users
Tier 2 - 10,000 unique users
Tier 3 - 100,000 unique users
Tier 4 - Unlimited unique users

How to Increase Your WhatsApp Broadcast Limit

WhatsApp upgrades your tier automatically only if:

✔ Your Quality Rating remains Medium or High

✔ You message at least 50% of your current tier limit within 7 days

Example 1: Moving from 2,000 → 10,000 users

If your current limit is 2,000 users/day, you must message:

1,000 unique users

Within 7 days

Once done, WhatsApp upgrades your tier on the 8th day.
If you message 1,000 unique users on the first day, your limit increases the very next day

Example 2: Moving from 10,000 → 100,000 users

If your current limit is 10,000 users/day, send messages to:
5,000 unique users

Within 7 days

You’ll be upgraded to Tier 3: 100,000 users/day.

What Happens If You Cross the Daily Broadcast Limit?

If you try to send a broadcast to more users than your tier allows, Wavixo (via Meta’s API) will show an error:

“Audience size exceeding remaining quota, some messages may not be delivered.”
To proceed:

Reduce your broadcast audience size to match your tier limit.

Broadcast Limits Across Multiple Projects Under the Same Business Manager

Originally, each WhatsApp Project under a Business Manager had its own limit.

Now:
Broadcast Limit is SHARED across all projects under the same Business Manager.

Example:
Your Business Manager has 10 projects, and your broadcast limit is 10,000.

This means:
Sending 10,000 messages from any one project will consume the entire limit.

None of the other projects can send broadcasts until the next day.

The limit resets every 24 hours.
If your Quality Rating stays High/Medium, your limit may automatically increase to 100,000 based on WhatsApp upgrade rules.

In Summary

Your Broadcast Limit now applies to:

✔ Entire Business Manager
✖ Not individual projects

To reach UNLIMITED broadcasting:
Maintain High Quality Rating

Message the required number of unique users consistently

Progress through WhatsApp’s 4 broadcast tiers
